I’m absolutely thrilled to share the incredible success of this year’s #SheInspiresMe Car Boot Sale. Powered by Selfridges and generously supported by MINI UK, this vibrant event brought together purpose, fashion, and community, all in support of Women for Women International UK and their vital work with women survivors of war.

Thanks to everyone who donated, shopped, volunteered, and supported, we have raised over £413,000 for women and girls affected by war. This brings our total raised since 2016 to over £2.2 million. Every pound directly supports women living in some of the most dangerous places in the world, helping them heal, rebuild their lives, and rediscover their strength.

I was truly delighted to host this year’s #SheInspiresMe Car Boot Sale. I had such a wonderful day seeing everyone come together to raise money for such an important cause. On my boot was Caroline, Alice, Sarah, Julie, Indre donations from Hikari and more. I especially loved the buzz of having my kids there, it was so meaningful to watch them learn about the power of community and the impact we can create when we act together.

At a time when conflict continues to devastate communities, the funds we’ve raised matter deeply. Women for Women International supports women survivors of war by providing them with the tools to rebuild their lives. Helping women to learn essential skills like literacy, numeracy, health education, and vocational training. They also gain access to emotional support, rights awareness, and the chance to earn a stable income. The goal is not just survival but long-term independence, dignity, and renewed strength in the face of unimaginable challenges.

We couldn’t have done it without you, the heart and soul of the event, our fabulous car booters, generous donors, dedicated committee, hardworking volunteers, and the many kind-hearted shoppers who showed up to support. Every item sold, every conversation shared, and every act of generosity added up to something truly powerful.
