The Guest Edit: Isabelle Kountoure
For this week's guest edit I asked the Style Director of the Financial Times' HTSI, Isabelle Kountoure for her current essential picks for spring, from fashion to beauty and more.
Isabelle Kountoure is widely known in the fashion industry for her ever-chic and effortless take on getting dressed. She has been a notable figure in the industry for over 10 years in London with roles at Wallpaper, Pop Magazine and more. If there is anyone I would turn to for styling tips or what to invest in, it’s her. So, I am so excited to share her top 7 pieces she is loving for Spring, from fashion, jewellery, vintage pieces and beyond.
It’s one of my classic wardrobe staples styled with the black tuxedo trousers. I especially love this one, because it has more of a racer cut, which enhances my shoulders.Â
A pair of trousers I do not travel without this year is the Doppio wide leg pant by Another Tomorrow. Not only are the pants impeccably cut, but I also love the guilt free shopping aspect of it as it is a brand founded on solid proven sustainability principles.
I live on the road, between my job and my private life spreading across 6 cities… it’s exhausting but it’s been like that for the last 13 years. So I need a travel bag that fits my life in it - this one from Metier has been my constant companion for the last year - it's like my own super chic Mary Poppins bag !
Due to my lifestyle I need and all day lasting hydration. This face cream has been my skin saviour, and it’s 100% natural and recyclable.
I started taking these Pre/Probiotics about 3 years ago, and haven't stopped since. It's how I start my day - they keep me in balance, no matter how high the stress levels.
I love the Oera collection by Tabayer - lately I've been wearing more white gold jewellery. This new ring instantly caught my eye, because of its bold yet sensual and elegant design.
A friend in Geneva introduced me to Julia’s vintage world, she has exceptional pieces and her knowledge and archive is museum worthy. I found this vintage Courrèges dress, and it was love at first sight.
