Gardens I loved so much, I named pieces after them
My favourite London Gardens
It is so easy to feel overwhelmed in such a busy city as full as London, but these little patches of green amongst the buildings have a quiet magic. If you’re from London, you’ll probably know some of these beautiful places and if you aren't, here are some of my favourites. A lot of my clothing pieces have been named after some of these gardens or parks. I have wandered through them hundreds of times, from when I was little to the present day.
In the heart of west London, Holland Park is one of the city's hidden gems, blending historic charm and natural beauty. The Kyoto Garden is one of my most loved parts, with its waterfall and koi-filled pond. I am always delighted to see the park’s resident peacocks, who strut gracefully across the lawns, adding a splash of colour. I love this garden so much, I named our new shorts after it.
The Berkeley Boxer Shorts are, of course, named after Berkeley Square with all its quiet charm and timeless elegance.
One of my favourite pieces at the moment is The Kew Lace Ribbed Vest. Kew is a haven for plant lovers; it really is the perfect blend of history, science, and natural beauty. Kew has stunning Glasshouses, ancient trees, and wildflower meadows. The perfect muse for a little lace vest.
Brook Green has a quiet, village feel in the heart of West London, leafy, relaxed, and effortlessly charming. Just like our Brook tank.
Hyde Park is London’s iconic green escape, where open water and shady trees come together. Our new Hyde swimsuit is made for days just like that.
Primrose Hill has that laid-back, slightly dreamy feel, pastel streets, good coffee, and the best spot to watch the sunset. We named the Primrose Swimsuit with that kind of summer day in mind. It works great under shorts as a top as well as a staple swimsuit.
Regent’s Park has a bit of everything, from formal gardens to beautiful wild flowers. Our Regents cashmere set is made for those in-between moments, when the air’s cool and the city slows down. I also absolutely love John Nash's architectural influence in Regent's Park. He designed the overall layout of the park, including the grand terraces and villas that surround it.
